Hingorani gains valuable experience at historic Milwaukee
On a day where rookie drive Sean Hingorani would run up into the top five, a late race pit strategy would come up short having the driver of the No. 61 Fidelity Capital Toyota Tundra TRD Pro finish in the 23rd position. Hingorani would show tons of speed in the Saturday practice session timing in position number eight. The Newport Beach, Calif. native fought a loose handling truck most of the afternoon and gained some valuable knowledge about the Craftsman Truck series in his first start on the season, and first with Hattori Racing Enterprises.
The action packed weekend started with practice on Saturday with cool and breezy conditions at The Milwaukee Mile. Hingorani would report early on in practice that the truck was just a tick tight in the center, but he liked the overall drive he was getting off the corner. Hingorani would time in eighth fastest on the speed charts for the only practice session on Saturday afternoon for the Clean Harbors 175. Hingorani said after practice he liked the direction the truck was heading and would transition well to the race the next day. Hingorani would time in 27th out of 38 competitors for the Clean Harbors 175 at the Milwaukee Mile. The No. 61 Fidelity Capital Toyota Tundra TRD Pro would start the Clean Harbors 175 on the inside of row number 14.
At the start of the Clean Harbors 175, Hingorani would go to school on short track Craftsman Truck Series racing. He would fall back a few spots, but throughout the run would progressively get better and better. He would fall back to the 28th position, but didn't waste any time making progress during stage one. By the green and white checkered flag, Hingorani and the No. 61 Fidelity Capital Toyota Tundra TRD Pro would cross the finish line in the 25th position.
Following a pit stop, Hingorani would cycle out to restart 20th for the second stage. Like many on the afternoon, Hingorani would start to fight a tight condition that would affect his drive off the corner at Milwaukee. Hingorani would hover around the 20th position for most of stage two, ultimately finishing stage two in the 22nd position. The action didn't slow down for stage three. A massive strategy call would see Hingorani stay on the track for the entirety of the third stage. After a couple early cautions in stage three, Hingorani would restart in position number five on a day where track position was the name of the game. A 40 lap green flag run to the end would ensue to end the Clean Harbors 175. When the checkered flag flew, Hingorani would cross the start-finish line in the 23rd position.

"Today was a very special day for me as this was my first start in the Craftsman Truck Series. The key of today was to just log some laps and get used to how the truck handles different from the ARCA car. The team did an amazing job over the last week or so getting me comfortable in the truck and ready for the race. Although the strategy didn't play out in our favor, I feel we still had a great first run at it and came home relatively clean. The level of competition is quite the step up and really opened my eyes. I learned a lot from this race and hopefully it can translate to some other racing I'm doing; I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of a truck sooner rather than later".
